quality antiques and collectibles, and have enforced a 1939 dateline. Enquiries will be welcomed from dealers with the following stock:- Pre-1930 Decorative Furniture, English, Continental and Oriental Pottery and Porcelain, Glass, Silver, Silver Plate, Metalware, Linen, Textiles, Oils, Watercolours, Prints, Books, Rugs and Carpets, Lighting, Clocks, Watches, Scientific instruments, Objets D'art. The market in decorative antiques is growing with expanding interest in interiors and today's furnishing ideas incorporate a wide variety of items. The vogue for old textiles, French furniture, leather and architectural antiques has increased. There is also a new generation of antique buyers interested in art nouveau, art deco, advertising material and the best of 20th century design. The Ginnel gives us a unique background to display both traditional and decorative antiques. We will be pleased to help you select an area which will best display your stock. We regret that only costume jewellery may be displayed. Modern reproduction items will not be accepted. The date-lined section will be clearly marked and we ask that all items are clearly dated on the ticket and marked with an accurate description. |
